No helmet - No bike!
The majority of students at Maroochydore High are an excellent example when it comes to bike safety, however, during Term 3 this year, a number of students were given warnings about not wearing helmets and also about riding on the wrong side of busy Maroochydore Road.
It is necessary to follow all the road rules, including crossing only at the traffic lights and at the appropriate times. All of these things are put in place with your safety in mind. I have attended too many car accidents on the Sunshine Coast and know how devastating the results can be. |
