The Social Justice Faculty at Maroochydore State High School provides and coordinates a range of services for students at risk of suspension/exclusion, disengagement or leaving school before completing year 12.
A variety of proactive activities aimed at preventing and reducing the frequency and severity of classroom and playground behaviour incidents are offered. In addition to providing support for classroom teachers, students and their parents, the faculty assists with pre-service and in-service teacher education and professional development at the school and district level.
